Okorocha Urges Political Leaders To Shun Careless Utterances

Rochas-OkorochaThe Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has urged political leaders across the nation to remain committed to the development of the nation by shunning careless utterances that has the capacity to fan the embers of disunity and hatred in the country.

In his New Year message to Nigerian, the Governor said all actions and utterances in the year 2016 should be geared towards promoting peace, love, tolerance and understanding among Nigerians.

The Governor added that in the year 2016, the state government will remain committed to the policy thrust of his rescue mission agenda which is to embark on massive industrialization of the state, poverty eradication, free education, quality healthcare delivery and massive infrastructural development.

He, however, called for the support and prayers while also enjoining all Nigerians to promote and embrace the things that unite us as a nation and discard those things that polarize us as a people.
